Part of my photo essay on capturing spring. The new growth through dead leaves with a focus on creating a warm and hopeful spring motif through lighting.
YAS, lens flare!!! I love seeing rays of sunlight in images, it is so appealing to look at! Those rays really set a sense of depth without having to have anything out of focus. The colors you used are great, very natural. One thing I will change is the composition. My eyes want to assume that the log is the focus of this image, but the log does not exactly fallow the rule-of-thirds. If the log was a little lower, it would be perfectly placed!
The snuggly, fuzzy, cuteness of a kitten to hopeful make the viewer feel the same way. Intentions on softness and sleepy feelings through intentional through focus and blur.
The photo distortion project. I had taken photos with my eye behind the lense the whole day and finally took a break to stretch my neck and I looked up and realized the prettiest view was right above me the whole time. A lesson not to force every single photo or I just might miss what is already there for me.
